SPORTSHALL Athetics is an exciting indoor programme of adapted athletics activities. It includes track and field events which are made up of relays, obstacle relays, standing long jump, standing triple jump, vertical jump, speed bounce, chest push & soft javelin.
SPORTSHALL provides fun ways to build core skills and is renowned for its exhilarating team competitions.
The four finalist teams from St Matthews NS Ballymahon, St. Mary’s NS Newtowncashel, St. Michael’s Boys School, Longford & St. Joseph’s NS, represented Longford in the National Inter County Festival of SPORTSHALL Athletics held in the AIT International Arena, Athlone on Wednesday the 27th March.
