Operation Transformation Nationwide Walk Longford

Operation Transformation is a National Health and Fitness Initiative run annually on RTÉ in conjunction with Sport Ireland. Each year the Local Sports Partnerships help people get active by holding a series of Operation Transformation walks.

The annual Sport Ireland Nationwide Walking Events take place each January locally in Longford and all around the country. These walks are a great way of promoting walking as a fun way to get and stay active. The annual nationwide walks are a very important event in the promotion of healthy living and the pursuit of exercise.

The Annual Nationwide walk takes place in Longford on January 16th 2022.

The walk begins at 11am from Market Square, Longford.
