Sport Inclusion Disability Charter
In November of 2018, the Sports Inclusion Disability Charter was launched by Active Disability Ireland (formerly CARA) and Sport Ireland with the aim of contributing to achieve the actions of the National Sport Policy 2018-2027 and remove barriers for people with disabilities, thus promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for all.
Sport and physical activity are central to the fabric of life in Ireland. As citizens of this state, people with disabilities have a right to be active within their local communities.
